PROFESSIONAL CREDIBILITY
Use your TIBD affiliation to enhance your professional credibility. TIBD’s Continuing Education Policy distinguishes you as a Building Designer committed to professional development, and TIBD provides many resources to help you meet your Continuing Education (CE) requirements. A minimum of 8 CE hours in each calendar year are required for all professional members. Local chapters offer frequent seminars on varying topics including building codes, ADA/TAS accessibility, building products, and others.

The annual design competition, held in conjunction with the convention each year, offers you an opportunity to stand out among your peers and demonstrate your professional expertise. The recognition received increases your prominence in the building design profession and gives you an increased opportunity to be featured in national publications.

​NATIONAL CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
